Our Process​

You’ve got enough to worry about with planning your wedding – you deserve a photographer that makes the process as smooth and easy as possible.

We schedule a meeting!

We can talk photography… and maybe dogs or just dogs. This intro meeting is to get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit. I’ll gather some info about what’s important so I can figure out which package makes the most sense for you.

You book me

Booking me is easy, I’ll send you over the contract and invoice. A $700 retainer is due at time of signing.

Plan your engagement session

All of our wedding packages include an engagement session. This gives us time to really get to know each other and talk about the important details of the day. It’s also a chance for you to see the photos so you can trust us to do it right on your wedding day.

YOUR WEDDING DAY Experience

When it comes to documenting the day I want you to be as present as possible with those around you. Photos are the one thing that you will have after the wedding is over. This is one of the only times in your life you will be surrounded by all the people you love… and there’s going to be so much emotion…. And chaos…. And hopefully some dogs

Getting ready

These photos have the chance to be filled with all kinds of moments… and this is the only chance you are your closest humans get to spend sometime together….with a photographer… you’re going to want some photos of the shenanigans thats going to happen, or some of the intimate moments that could happen as well. This also gets everyone comfortable with having us around.

First look and Wedding day portraits.

(If you choose to do a first look)

  • First looks can be about the only time throughout the day that you might spend with one another (and us, but we’ll allow you to have the moment, because it's about YOU!). It gives you and your human a chance to embrace one another and get all the emotions and energy out. (And make for some sweet (or spicy) moments.
  • This also gives us time to do some wedding day portraits so you guys can enjoy and be present for the rest of the wedding day. Ideally I would like 40-60 minutes or more to get some baller portraits.
  • This also could be a time to knock out some family photos

Ceremony

During the wedding ceremony we’ll be extremely respectful with how we document. We’ll capture in a way that you hopefully won’t even notice we are there because the focus should be on you.

Family Formals

I take them! These can be very important images for not just you but family as well. I will send out a questionnaire with a list (this list is very important) of groupings or important people you wish to be in these. We’ll take charge and make sure we can get through them and make sure everyone is documented. I recommend that family photos primarily be immediate family, grandparents etc., so that you can get back to your day. If you wish to have larger group photos we can discuss a good time during the day that we can get that for you.

Reception and send off.

  • At this point its time to just party! Enjoy the food, get down on the dance floor, smash cake in each others face, don't worry about it from here, I’ll document it all and I will be right up on the dance floor with you (I might get down a little too if thats okay)
  • I will be in communication with all the vendors to make sure that all the important moments get captured until coverage ends.

After the Wedding

  • You will get a sneak peak of some photos the day after the wedding and a feature on the blog within a week! After that, your gallery will be delivered to you within 3-5 weeks.
  • The end? Nope. We stay friends. You have a photographer for life for all your future life events! Or we can just walk our dogs together, or hangout and eat pizza.
